Horse Description:

30/6/22 - "Betty" is feeling her oats and we're delighted with how she's been working. Looking to take her to Cowra on 9th July for a trial.

23/6/22 - delighted with how "Betty" is working and we are tossing up whether to take her to Dubbo trials next Monday - will know a bit more after she works this morning. She's as strong as an ox and ready to go. The drier tracks at the moment are also in her favour.

17/6/22 - "Betty" is putting everything together and according to Chelsea hasn't felt this good in a while. Most importantly she's sound but needs nothing worse than a soft 5-6 track. Not far off.

1/6/22 - "Betty" is ready to go however will probably miss a trial set down for Bathurst this Monday due to the expected wet track. Plans are to still get her to a trial before going to the races.

25/5/22 - "Betty" is going a good as ever - pace working and has had a couple of serious hit-outs. Her next couple of gallops will let us know the level she's at but hopefully will trial at Bathurst on 6th June.

4/5/22 - "Betty" is starting to get cranky around the place which is usually a good sign. We're close to putting some more solid work into her.

27/4/22 - we're starting to increase "Betty's" workload - she's started pace work and is going good.

20/4/22 - due to increase "Betty's" work over the next week or so - she's coming along lovely.

14/4/22 -  "Betty" is another who looks amazing and has started pace working.

30/3/22 - "Betty" looks amazing and going great. No issues with her feet and she's close to pace working.

17/3/22 - taking things a bit quieter this week as she developed a foot abscess - thankfully it looks like clearing up but will have a vet check tomorrow.

3/3/22 - "Betty" has resumed from a break all dappled up - looks amazing - and hasn't lost condition while off the scene. Just going through her paces at the moment.

23/2/22 - spelling but will come back this Thursday. Looks great in the paddock - has even dappled up amazingly.

17/2/22 - spelling but we expect to have "Betty" back this Sunday. She looks good in the paddock and gives the impression that she can't wait to get back.

27/1/22 - disappointed with "Betty's" 5th placing at Bathurst on Tuesday where she just didn't seem to have her usual finishing burst. Matt Cahill said that she didn't go woeful but that she's just not her normal self at the moment. With that in mind we'll give her 2-3 weeks break. She pulled up from the run in great order licking her feed bin clean.

19/1/22 - was a bit "sad" following her 5th placing at Canberra last Wednesday but has brightened up and is licking her feed bin clean. She has been nominated for a BM66 HCP over 1200m at Bathurst next Tuesday (25th January) and will have Matt Cahill riding. She's due to do some solid work tomorrow in preparation.

30/12/21 - very pleased with "Betty's" work and she'll be nominated for a BM66 Hcp over 1300m at Canberra on 12th January. Usual jockey Matt Cahill will take the ride.

22/12/21 - really, really happy with "Betty's" 2nd placing at Bathurst over 1200m on Monday where she struck a bit of trouble at about the 600m mark but once given open air around the bend rocketed down the outside to miss by 3/4 of a length. Pulled up great from the run and licked the feed bin clean. Considering nominating her for a BM75 Hcp over 1400m on 29th December.

15/12/21 - "Betty" put in a huge run at Mudgee recently where she was first up over 1200m and has been nominated for another 1200m BM66 Hcp at Bathurst on Monday 20th December where Matt Cahill will again be onboard. She has never looked better and the hours she spends in the outside yards has brought her coat on amazingly.

1/12/21 -  "Betty" has been working so good - she's bouncing around the place and her work has been A1. She's 4th emergency at Mudgee Friday 3rd for a 1200m Showcase Sprint but we're hopeful she can get into the field. A drying track would benefit her.

7/10/21 - "Betty" is going really good and will likely have a race start in the next 3-4 weeks. We'll likely give her either a jump out or a trial before then just to see where she's at.

22/9/21 - "Betty" is carrying on a treat in the stables and is coming to hand nicely. Maybe 4-6 weeks away from going to the races as she doesn't need much work to get up for it.

15/9/21 - "Betty" is getting close to having her work increased. Had a swim this morning and is building up - her coat is coming through.

9/9/21 -  "Betty" is looking great at the moment - her coat is coming out and she's enjoying being back in the stable. Just trot/canter at this stage.
